New at the Zoo

Animal Spotlight
Meet Lizzy!Lizzy, the African Lioness, has been queen of our Africa! habitat since opening in 2009. During her reign, she has given birth to four cubs with her late partner, Arthur. Though she currently rules alone, this old gal has been thriving with enrichment and care from her zookeepers, and taking great cat naps on her rock all day long. Lions love to sleep for nearly 20 hours a day!
